A major repair job but they were done by the afternoon. Just one small glitch which may require more further work (and more money!) but I am happy with how it looks now.
This was before:
Definitely tripping hazards! There were several spots like this.
Now it's smooth all around.
Unfortunately this one still needs work. They will come back tomorrow.
And, in the process they upset a bee's nest so it is very "buzzy" out there! It was amazing to see how the repairs were accomplished - lots of heavy duty equipment. They also raised the slab abutting the house so that rain water will drain away from the basement. Now I just have to come up with the payment!
That was a big fix. Always good when you drain water away from the house!
ReplyDeleteNow it has been raised I have to be careful stepping out of the walkout!
DeleteWell, it is best not to have tripping hazards around a pool, so I am glad for you that it will be all fixed by tomorrow. Did they just pump something underneath to level the slabs? We need a couple sections of sidewalk leading up to our front door repaired for the same reason, so that is on our list of home fix-it projects. We called earlier in the summer, but they were booked so far in advance that they were to call us when they were closer to being able to do the work. It is always something, but yes also always best to maintain the value of your home.
ReplyDeleteI was very impressed with the system - yes, they drilled small holes (hardly noticeable) and injected some material. Then tamped it down to make sure it was level. No problem getting the work done, I only had to wait a few days.
DeleteLooks very good. The crew did an excellent job.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
There is one slab they still have to complete, once I get rid of the bees!
DeleteA job well done (almost)! X
ReplyDeleteHopefully next week, fingers crossed!
DeleteLooking good - I could just dive in there!
ReplyDeleteI spend so much time out there it's worth the investment.
