Lots of blooms on the hibiscus that I over wintered indoors. |
Flowers just starting to appear on the potato plants. |
Ten potatoes have sprouted and behind them are the raspberry bushes. Not much fruit this year.

A very miserable tomato plant - I have watered it twice today but it definitely does not like the heat!

Poor tomato - he really does look extremely unhappy. How is he now?

Still drooping!
DeleteNeeds to go to the tomato hospital I think! They usually like heat too - at least mine do - when DH worked in the tomato greenhouses as a student picking tomatoes it was 120degrees in there. Hope he recovers after his drink of water. Potatoes looking good though.x
ReplyDeleteNo improvement today - I'm hoping for some cooler weather.
DeleteWe have just harvested our first potatoes. A couple of huge ones alongside some more manageable little ones. Still waiting for our tomatoes, although we haven't had your prolonged heat.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I can dig up any potatoes for a while yet.
DeleteYour hibiscus is gifting you again with blooms - it's such a lovely plant.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately they don't last long. Still a few buds to open.
DeleteOh dear those tomato plants don't look very happy do they, I hope that they rally soon. Love the colour of your hibiscus, it's just stunning.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog this week, hope to see you again soon.
Maggie.
I am watering them more frequently and they do seem to be recovering.
DeleteI didn't realize hibiscus could be kept small like that (compared to garden size on the west coast and in HI.) That's awesome! It looks great!
