Loads of tomatoes, cherry, grape and full size but they have been at this stage for a couple of weeks now. I am hoping to be able to eat some next week if only they can hurry up and turn red!
The following week I will be away most days, volunteering at the tennis tournament, so won't be eating at home. Sod's Law that is when they will all ripen!
I should at least be able to use up most off this plant as they seem to be close to being ready.
Finished another puzzle yesterday while a storm blew through. It's been on the go for almost a month but was proving quite a challenge. However, I like a challenge and kept plugging away at it. It's borrowed from a friend and she forgot to mention how tricky it was, some very odd shaped pieces!
We seem to be pulling in a few red tomatoes every second day. Seems like they are a bit slower this year.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I have a feeling I will have a glut of them at some point!
DeleteI'm picking a few at a time. Not enough for a meal but it builds up. Like you, I can see that they will all suddenly get the idea. Do you have a friendly neighbour who can pick for you when you are away? xx
ReplyDeleteI'll be around to pick them but won't be eating too many meals at home. May have to make a huge batch of tomato sauce at some point.
DeleteLet's hope nature helps along with the timing of the tomato ripening, a slow time. Sounds like you'll be busy with one of your summer highlights - the tennis tournament. Hopefully the weather will also be kind, not too hot, not too wet. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, can't wait as it's always lots of fun to see all the big names.
DeleteLove your new header!
ReplyDeleteThanks, they are cone flowers. Who are you?
DeleteJust a neighbor from Michigan. Enjoy the thought of your pool every summer day…
DeleteI love that puzzle. It would have been great fun to do.
ReplyDeleteIr was quite challenging but I stuck with it!
