Not only sick of the snow and cold temperatures but also of having to constantly don my winter coat and boots!
This is me all decked out for my morning walk. Just needed to grab my mitts and headband and I was all set. There was only a weak sun today and just a light wind so I was quite comfortable. But how I long to be able to grab a lighter jacket and leave the gloves behind!
I don't think I have ever owned jacket like that in my entire life. The only boots I have are for fashion or a pair of short gumboots when the front garden floods.
ReplyDeleteYou are so fortunate to live in a more agreeable climate!
DeleteIt can't be that long now, can it, and the snow will stop, the weather will moderate and you can put away your winter coats! xx
ReplyDeleteEven once the temperatures rise we still have to wait for all the snow piles to melt. At least I won`t have to cut the grass for a while!
DeleteWaiting for Spring here too!! Can't be soon enough!

Normally I don`t mind winter but this year it seems to have gone on too long!
DeleteGetting all of that clobber on just to go out side is my biggest moan and groan. I will so glad to pack it all away until ............never.
ReplyDeleteIt`s a pain, isn`t it? Starting at -6C this morning with a wind chill of -13C means we will still be wearing all our winter woolies for a while yet.
DeleteIt is bitterly cold here today and hailstones in SW Scotland -it was much milder yesterday when we had rain. I am longing for warmer weather now as the garden is suffering these cold temperatures. You look very snug.
ReplyDeleteAt least I have the right outfit for the weather! Hope it warms up where you are soon, too.
DeleteI am keeping my fingers crossed that things will begin to warm up here, or at least that we don't get more snow!!! Don't know where we would put it.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Big complaints here about the manner in which roads and sidewalks have been cleared. It is probably done more efficiently where you are.
DeleteI find in winter you need to add at least 10 minutes to any going out timing just for ALL the winter garb we have to put on. I'm with you, cannot wait to ditch the boots, the coat, the hat, the scarf, the gloves, the headband etc .
ReplyDeleteI managed some time outside today, enjoying the sun without the hat and gloves, but not ready to shed the winter coat!
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely and cosy.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to feel the sun on my face now. Fingers crossed you'll be uncovering the pool before much longer. Xx
I have a date for the pool opening but it's not until May 23rd.!
DeleteYou look snug as a bug.
