Another Treat

A miserable day and I haven't set foot outside, in fact I have no plans to go anywhere until Monday. It seems too early in the winter for us to be having sub-zero temperatures and my body just hasn't adjusted to the change. At least no snow yet.

After my request for more no-bake recipes, sparklingmerlot (see my sidebar) sent me a recipe for Lemon Coconut Squares. They turned out really well and are stored in the freezer for when I want some comfort food. Now I am on the lookout for something chocolatey, maybe a chewy chocolate brownie!

They were pretty easy and I had most of the ingredients on hand.

  1. Bast to stay inside, in the warm, when it's like that. Have a cosy day!

    1. I have lit the gas fire for extra cosyness or "hugge" as the Danes call it.

  2. Just know how you feel and also agree the cold has hit us rather unexpectedly. It is a very blustery ice cold day here and a day for staying inside in the warm with a nice hot soup for lunch. No excursions for us today LOL! Those Lemon coconut squares look quite delicious so popping over to sparklingmerlot for a browse. Keep well. Amanda x

  3. There is snow here in parts - I think we may be going home to snow but none here in our part of Scotland at the cottage. I love chocolatey bites - have you tried the coconut with cherry and chocolate ones? I will see if I can find my mum's recipe for you. x

    1. That sounds yummy. Is it no-bake? I am still without an oven.
