Just dropping in to say I am still in the land of the living and haven't succumbed to any viruses! Nothing happening here - tennis over for another year although I was invited to play indoors this week. Still no working stove but fingers crossed the new part is installed before Christmas. It will be touch-and-go!
More leaves to rake but it was too cold today. Although parts of the country have had snow, it has passed us by for the time being. All good!
How frustrating not having your stove at this time of year. Many years ago I played indoor tennis for a short time and quite enjoyed it. My shoulders are knackered now so no tennis of any sort for me. I guess we don't know the meaning of real cold down here.

DeleteGlad to hear all is well except for the stove part still not arriving. It seems everywhere, businesses are being affected by the supply chain breakdown. We also dodged that snow bullet today in spite of the threatening clouds & wind ... tomorrow we may not be so lucky :(

ReplyDeleteOur weather is still quite mild, around 12C most days but wet and windy. I envied your hot sunny days but not your imminent cold, snowy ones.
We do seem to go from one extreme to the other. We are on the same latitude as the south of France but quite a different climate!
