A Day Brightener

   I had an early morning walk today, because of the heat, and came home with this beautiful bunch of lily-of-the-valley from the local church yard. The perfume is wonderful. My own plants only produced two flower stalks!

      I keep them on the table so I can enjoy the scent while eating.

    That's a beautiful urn for the lily of the valley. My LoV is just starting to bud up & I cannot wait to pick a bunch, I too love the scent.

    So lovely - I had almost forgotten about mine it can be seen better from next door - I need to replant some in a better spot so I can see it!

      It's one of the few flowers that looks better when picked. I wish I had more in my garden.
