Difficult post to write today - we had a shooting in town on Sunday with two random casualties. One, a 10 year old girl, was in my granddaughter's class at school. So everyone grieving and terribly sad for the family. The other victim, a young lady who had just finished high school, was only 19. What a waste, so senseless! It is impossible to make sense of it.

It is so very NOT what we expect here in Canada. So horribly shocking and a terrible connection for your family. From what we hear so far, he was a very troubled individual - no doubt we will hear more. -JennReplyDelete
The school has brought in counsellors to help the students come to terms with the tragedy.Delete
It is a difficult time & I have so many thoughts & opinions, none of which I'll write about here. I do agree with many of the media outlets not using the shooter's name, only the names of those he stole from life & those left injured.ReplyDelete
I'm reading The Heirs, so far so good. :)
Glad you are enjoying The Heirs. There's a twist near the end but I won't be a spoiler!Delete
