Snow flurries and gale force winds today so I have stayed indoors except for a quick trip to the bulk food store - I needed bread machine flour to make a loaf otherwise I wouldn't have ventured out!
A new book to tell you about - "Moonflower Murders" by Anthony Horowitz. I was interested to read that, as well as having written seven other murder mysteries, the author is also a screenwriter, having created "Midsomer Murders" and "Foyle's War" - a talented and prolific writer indeed!
Beautiful photo. I will mention this book to my mum she likes a good murder mystery.
ReplyDeleteI have just started it - it was a bit slow to start but is getting more interesting.
DeleteI absolutely LOVED Foyle's War, so I am going to get that book! Thank you for telling us about it!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a very nice family picture. You can tell she's your daughter! -Jenn
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenn. The kids are now teenagers, all taller than their mom!
DeleteWhat a lovely family photo. You are a very lucky lady.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to give them all a hug once the lockdown is lifted!
DeleteThat's a great photograph. You are very blessed. X
ReplyDeleteYes, I am, but miss them dreadfully.
DeleteLovely family photo. Thanks for the book recommendation. We just started watching Foyle's War; DVDs from the library.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for libraries!
DeleteI recognised the name Anthony Horowitz but couldn't put my finger on the TV programmes until you mentioned them. Beautiful photo.
ReplyDeleteI plan to get his earlier book, "The Magpie Murders", which is actually a precursor to this one.
DeleteWhat a lovely family.
ReplyDeleteI have written down that authors name and am going to check out what I can find of his online. Our library still isn't really open yet.
God bless.
I am enjoying the book but it is a heavy read both in terms of the actual weight of the book and the pace of the plot. Try it before you buy it!
